Almost bursting out of the picture frame, this young Warrior is very closely cropped. Possibly one of the youngest figures represented in the collection, The Golden Hoop has a contemporary attitude. Then upbeat dayglo markings and an energetic background belie the stillness sand seriousness of the sitter. She is focussed even though she knows we are looking.
